Chatzi Kaddish

Chatzi Kaddish - this prayer serves as a liturgical separator, a coma of sorts. It signals that one rubric of the prayer service has ended and another is about to begin. The prayer consists of praise for God and shares the text with the Mourner's Kaddish. The Mourner's Kaddish, which is read, contains additional text not found in the Chatzi Kaddish, which is literally translated as "half a Kaddish."
