Michael Schneider is Congregation Solel’s Associate Executive Director and Assistant Director of Education, Youth, & Engagement. In these roles, he works closely with Ashley in the planning and executing of Lev Learning’s daily activities, managing the registration system, and creating the school’s marketing materials. Michael also helps with programming our family events, including Bimbam Shabbat and Sharing Shabbat.
Michael is also Solel’s youth group advisor, where he and a dedicated group of teen board members plan and run events for students across all age groups. Michael oversees our madrichim (teenage teacher assistants), is a group leader for our 8th-12th grade program, and maintains contact with our alumni through Solel’s College Connection.

He took part in Spertus Institute’s Certificate in Jewish Leadership program, learning with Jewish leaders from all around the world. He also represents Solel on Community – The Anti-Drug’s Faith Committee. Michael has been a Hebrew School and Religious School Teacher for over 10 years, and has been on staff at Solel since 2011. He made the full-time transition to Jewish education after spending most of his career in supply chain and logistics.
