Dear Friends,

Congregation Solel is fiercely dedicated to social justice and Tikkun Olam. This commitment is foundational and we strive for each congregant to engage in repairing the world.

I’m proud to share that we have a meaningful opportunity to help a family in need.

Congregation Solel is partnering with RefugeeOne to sponsor a refugee family, and aid in resettling them for their first six months in Chicago. How can you take action:

  • READ more about this rewarding opportunity.
  • DONATE to help with our sponsorship.
  • SIGN UP to help furnish their apartment.
  • CONTACT Solel congregants Alan Greene or Michael Wax to learn about more ways to help.

Did you know?

    • Our goal is to raise at least $12,000 and we need your help. Please consider a donation to help us achieve this goal.
    • A refugee is someone forced to leave their country due to persecution, conflict or war.
    • The US is authorized to accept 45,000 refugees this year, but in fact is likely to accept thousands fewer.

Shalom,

Rabbi Moffic
