“Telling Tales Out of School: 50 Years and Counting” Foregoing contemporary Jewish issues this year, Rabbi Taylor will share some of the most memorable experiences in his fifty years in the rabbinate.

Shabbat morning Torah study: “Song of Songs: Reading Out and Reading In” As Spring/Passover is the time to study the biblical “Song of Songs,” Rabbi Taylor will focus on what two thousand years of rabbinic commentaries have found in and read into this most glorious love poetry. The text will be available for participants.

Rabbi Taylor’s Shabbat evening sermon: “Know Whence Thou Comest and Whither Thou Art Going” At the service conclusion, Solel will enthusiastically honor all congregants present for their history of Solel membership over the last 60 years, from 60 year members to our newest. The service will be followed by a festive Oneg Shabbat, including home-baked sweets.
