Lifelong Learning

Solel has a storied history of learning programming.  Throughout the year we will continue this legacy with several new twists.  In addition to the learning opportunities you have participated in at Solel over the years – such as classes taught by Joyce Shrager and Rabbi Herbert Bronstein –  we will be offering various new opportunities, including Lunch and Learns and Cinema Nites with Rabbi Moffic every month.  Additionally, you can choose among several special learning events throughout the months to come.

Adult Education has been a tradition at Solel since its founding. Different classes meet at different times of the week: Sunday, Saturday, weekdays, and weeknights. Check the Calendar for times and the Adult Education page for more details. Classes are produced by Solel or in conjunction with other local Jewish institutions. All are free for members of Solel; some have nominal charges for non-members.

  • The Solel Religious School provides classes on Sundays for grades 1 to 6 plus 9 and 10 and Hebrew School classes which meet once a week on either Tuesday or Thursday for grades 3 to 8.
The Solel Religious School Calendar provides information on schedule and events for students and parents.
Classes, worship, and Youth Group activities are included.
    First Classes
    • Sunday, September 9th
    • Tuesday, September 18th
    • Thursday, September 20th
The Parent Handbook provides much information about the School for students and parents.
Documents can be viewed. Forms can be printed out (then completed and returned). These relate to the Religious School Council, to B'nei Mitsva, and to School Registration and other details.
